In all situations (except vitality and WPA insurance) clients will pay directly for treatment and then be able to reclaim the costs through their insurer where applicable.

Will cover the costs towards acupuncture treatment services provided by an acupuncturist. Acupuncturist means an acupuncturist, recognised by Bupa or registered as a Member or Fellow of the British Acupuncture Council
(MBAcC or FBAcC), British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS), or
Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).

Acupuncture is covered under complementary medicine. Cover ranges from £250 to £1,500 dependent on the policy you choose.
Normal exclusions apply, i.e no pre-existing medical conditions.
Initially you would have to go to your NHS GP to obtain a referral.
The Acupuncturist would need to be under the age of 70 and recognised by General and Medical Healthcare as a complementary medicine practitioner.
